**Global Technical Sales Leader - Sustainability Solutions**:

ABB Energy Industries (EN) drives growth for customers while supporting safe, efficient, and profitable operations with strong global execution capacity, an extensive service footprint and capabilities and innovative digital leadership. As Global Technical Sales Leader for ABB Ability's Sustainability Solutions in the Process Automation (PA) business area you will enable the global scaling of sales and services via software, hardware, and engineering services. You will be “the second person through the door” and able to confidently and convincingly show clients that ABB has the technical competence for delivering solutions regardless of size or complexity. You will work with clients in Oil, Gas, Chemical, Refining, Power, Water and Pharmaceutical vertical industry segments as they continue to move their businesses to be more efficient and sustainable.

Global Division Digital Head, PAEN

**Your responsibilities**:

- Focus sales, business development and technical teams on realizing value with ABB Sustainability solutions
- Support, Coach or lead technical engagements throughout the sales and adoption cycle as needed and support customer pilot activities leveraging agile principles
- Refine technical engagement processes to focus on value realization through ABB Sustainability solutions
- Share technical and business value oriented best practices with a global sustainability community regarding all aspects of winning business both in existing and new customers
- Keep informed on the status of key sustainability engagements globally and coordinate pursuit support globally for key opportunities when necessary
- Keep informed regarding the evolution of ABB's sustainability strategy and work with the leadership team on the definition of new solutions in support of the overall corporate strategy
- Work closely with field technical teams, partners and customers to identify solution gaps or differentiating capabilities and provide actionable feedback to product development teams
- Contribute extensively to the successful closing of ABB's largest, most strategic opportunities for sustainability solutions

**Your background**:

- 5 years of experience in architecting and implementing sustainability solutions in one or more relevant industry verticals, working as a plant engineer, production engineer, sustainability engineer
- Sound knowledge of industry best practices in solution and architecture design including key concepts, methodologies, and design standards
- Good practical skills preferably in several of the following: database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, other);Microsoft.NET development platform; Experience in the client-server technologies (WEB development);C#, JavaScript, HTML5;Understanding of enterprise business systems (ERP systems);
- Experience in the field of business intelligence (OLAP and Data Warehousing, Microsoft Reporting Services)
- Experience leading or participating in sales pursuit teams to close large deals.
- Experience with security operations centers functionality and software
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant experience
