You will be working as a Life Cycle Product Manager and will be part of the PM management team. In this role you will be reporting to the Global Product Portfolio Manager. You will be responsible for the creation and implementation of the life cycle strategy for MOSD product portfolio, positioning System Drives as the leading Drives Manufacturer in the evolving market space, shaped by the strive for the lowest total cost of ownership trend in the EU and the global markets and offering lifetime warranty for our high-quality products. Leading the System Drives Life Cycle transformation will encompass the creation and overall accountability for the implementation of the product related Life Cycle strategy in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders in System Drives and Motion. An integral part of the implementation of the Life Cycle strategy for System Drives will be the active management of product data collected throughout the operational life of the products and turning this data into value-adding offering yielding to superior operational uptime for our customers. The success in this position will require tight collaboration with Motion Service.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Operational uptime (OU): This is the most meaningful measure for our customers what comes to the total cost of ownership. You are responsible for driving this measure continuously up to levels we beat competition. This will be done based on data we collect from our installed base, and you drive our access to this data (OU= the percentage of time the equipment is in a condition to perform its intended function during the period of operations time). The capability to provide market leading operational uptime will enable us to offer novel, service-based offerings. Ideating, proposing, prototyping and exploring such models in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders in the SD Division and Motion.
- Life cycle improvements: Our products have life cycles of 20-30 years and keeping technology asset relevant (availability of component, BOM (Bill of Material) cost, performance etc.) throughout the life cycle requires redesign of several components of product families. While taking care of availability of components you drive the OU of our installed base upwards and bill of materials downwards by these improvements. You are responsible for proposing and prioritizing these improvements within dedicated budget.
- Life extension product offering: We extend our products’ lifetime and improve performance of installed base by developing life extension offering using current or next generation product families. This offering can consist of control upgrades, power unit upgrades, complete modules for addressing competitor’s installed base or other competitive improvements. This is done in collaboration with our MOSE colleagues.
- Governance of life cycle improvements: We have a Portfolio Management Group (PMG) for new product development, and you will be responsible for leading a PMG for life cycle management covering product portfolio that has passed Gate 5. PMG consisting of several stake holders sets the final priority of development within the given budget limits. You ensure full transparency on activities and manage the backlog and budgeting of all investments into our products in collaboration with Product Engineering and Quality globally.
- Organizational Development: Support the further transition of Product Management into a market-oriented business function. Act as a digital advocate to support the digital transformation of our customers, offering and business. Build alliances and drive alignment where we have one face towards the customer.
