**Product Manager Consumables (100%)**

**What you will do**

In this role you are responsible for the successful introduction of new products, product life cycle management of assigned consumables from product launch through maturity to phase-out. Additionally, you drive sales and gross profit goals of assigned consumables products to meet targets all while working closely with market units, regional offices, and end customers to develop understanding of market needs and initial new projects to meet those needs.

**Responsibilities will include**
- Take complete responsibility for some products within consumables portfolio - including product development and launch
- Independently drive, monitor and control of product launch and market introduction including development of pricing strategies, marketing plans, launch kits and sales materials, align with production and stock levels in warehouses, etc.
- Lead R&D, Quality and supplier meetings from the product management side while aligning with key members of the broader teams
- Monitor revenues and market position, and continuously monitor KPIs for the consumable products and report to management
- Independently drive counter measures in regions and market units to boost sales in case of declining sales
- Drive and support voice of the customers
- Explore new business ideas and build business cases (incl. NPV, project plans)
- Customer support, follow-up on complaint investigations and reporting to customer

**What you bring along**
- Master’s degree in Life Science (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry preferred)
- 4-5 years of work experience in a life science or diagnostics laboratory ideally within a Product management or equivalent role
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing fundamentals, including product launch & marketing campaign planning
- Good business sense, well-developed analytical, conceptual and specialist skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders from different departments and seniority levels
- Excellent English skills are a must. German or any other language would be an asset
- Willingness to travel 10-20%
