**Trainee Product Management Consumables 80-100% (6 months)**

**What you will do**

In this role you will gain insights into different areas of product management at Tecan. You will participate in ongoing projects, marketing campaigns, developing new product ideas, developing marketing collateral, customer support and commercial activities. **Responsibilities will include**
- Product life cycle management of assigned consumables from product launch through maturity to phase-out
- Work with PM’s in product life cycle management tasks and product development activities.
- Assist in preparing marketing collateral and campaigns for new product launches.
- Drive customer support and product improvement activities together with PM’s.
- Work closely with market units, regional offices and end customers to develop understanding of market needs and initial new projects to meet those needs
- Operate across our divisions Life Science and Partnering business
- Customer support, follow-up on complaint investigations and reporting to customer
- Run analysis in SAP and Excel (e.g. to track performance of sales)
- Monitor competition and support in pricing analysis
- Travel to visit customers & suppliers and for trade fairs & congresses

**What you bring along**
- Master degree or post graduate certification in Life Science (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry preferred)
- Work experience in a life science research or diagnostics laboratory (e.g. as part of Master thesis) is a plus
- Internships in renowned companies as well as international experience is a significant plus
- Basic knowledge of marketing fundamentals, including product launch & marketing campaign planning
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders from different departments and seniority levels
- Very good project management skills
- Stakeholder management & ability to work and align with cross-functional teams
- Strong team player with solid oral & written communication skills
- Proactive, well organized and able to multi-task
- Eager to learn, explore new ideas & opportunities on a day to day basis
- Excellent English skills are a must. German or any other language would be an asset
- Willingness to travel 10%
