Freight Processing Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Handling international shipments, including complex projects, trade fair handling, spare parts shipments and crosstrades
- Preparation of shipping documents and customs documents (e-dec) for international shipments (sea and air freight as well as road)
- Organisation of goods & plant transports
- Shipping of dangerous goods according to ADR, IMDG and IATA-DGR
- Processing of Carnet ATAs
- Cooperation with internal contacts (sales, procurement, project management, assembly and warehouse)
- Contact and coordination with customers and forwarding agents
- Processing of letters of credit
- General administrative work such as transport monitoring and freight settlement control
- Collaboration in continuous process optimisation

Hardskills
- Basic training in logistics or commerce
- Further training as an export specialist with a federal diploma
- Several years of experience in an industrial environment in the field of export
- Good user knowledge of the MS Office package and ERP experience (preferably SAP / AEB)
- Very good knowledge of German and English

Softskills
- High understanding of service and customer orientation
- Independent and open personality with high social competence, good communication skills and hands-on mentality
- Structured, solution-oriented and reliable way of working with entrepreneurial thinking
