**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for incoming orders for the Digital Solutions area as well as market analysis and customer support for the digital solutions
- Preparation of offers and calculations (with the help of sales templates)
- Preparation of sales documents and calculations for projects and solutions for MES connections, machine learning, data processing and storage, VR/AR
- Development of solutions in the area of Software as a Service and AI
- Training of colleagues (Sales Manager, PL etc.)
- Contract review and handover to implementing departments
- Close cooperation with the global sales managers to integrate the software solutions into the overall systems
- Elaboration of the marketing strategy and participation in trade fairs and exhibitions
- Openness to international travel of approx. 30-50%

Hardskills
- Completed engineering studies (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar) is a prerequisite
- Good technical understanding
- Sales experience in plant engineering or software for the pharmaceutical industry (GMP) is highly advantageous
- Very good knowledge of English is ideal, good knowledge of German is an advantage
