Sales Coordinator for Corporate Events

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Coordinator to join our team at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a luxurious hotel setting and be responsible for ensuring that our clients' meetings and events run smoothly.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position in the high-end hospitality or luxurious field and possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities include coordinating internal teams, making detailed arrangements with clients for smaller events, handling everything from request to proposal preparation and price negotiation, as well as contract creation and final invoice control.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that our clients' meetings and events run smoothly
  • Coordinate internal teams to provide a first-class experience for organizers, hosts, and meeting attendees
  • Making detailed arrangements with clients for smaller events
  • Handling everything from request to proposal preparation and price negotiation, as well as contract creation and final invoice control
  • Commitment to additional sales of meetings and conferences

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position in the high-end hospitality or luxurious field
  • Organizational talent with a high level of comprehension
  • Excellent communication skills, diligence, and commitment
  • Well-mannered and communication skills towards guests, customers, colleagues, and superiors; always considering intercultural aspects
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
