Global Automotive Business Development Director

DORNIER CONSULTING RH seeks a seasoned professional to lead and ensure the competitiveness and profitability of our Business Unit in Western Europe. As Global Automotive Business Development Director, you will drive innovation and business growth by identifying new markets, managing key accounts, and introducing premium solutions to clients.
Your challenges will bring you to travel extensively in Western Europe, develop new opportunities with American and Asian partners, and maintain a close relationship with historical key accounts and clients. You will be comfortable with complex negotiations, ensure thorough work on the impact of exchange rates, and manage contracts.
Salary and BenefitsThe attractive compensation package includes 80% fixed salary and 20% variable compensation. Based in the French border area, the position offers a great work-life balance, with a permanent contract and opportunities for professional growth.
About the RoleYou will work under the Business Unit Sales Manager, representing the company, its premium brand, and world-renowned industrial excellence. Your passion for market and technology trends will enable you to participate in diverse trade shows and seminars. A technical and/or sales-focused higher education diploma and 5-10 years experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally in the automotive industry, are required.
Proficiency in German and English is essential, with knowledge of French being a plus. Your relational and personal skills will allow you to create trusting and successful relationships with partners. The ideal candidate is persistent, imaginative, and known for creating lasting connections.
