About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Professional to join our team as an Account Manager, Western Switzerland (EMEA) for our Outdoor Apparel brand. As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic accounts for our assigned categories of business in the Western Switzerland region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies by account to drive revenue growth and maximize channel profitability.
  • Manage the sell-in process by adhering to account proposals to ensure full price selling and margin optimization.
  • Achieve mutually agreed upon annual sales targets, including top-line results and specific product segmentation strategies.
  • Provide detailed sales analysis to accurately reflect demand in the marketplace.
  • Effectively launch new seasons by ensuring stores are fully stocked, visually merchandised, and equipped with point-of-sale materials.
  • Ensure inventory flows effectively and responsibly through the Swiss Outdoor, Sporting Goods, Lifestyle, and Independent market.
  • Implement the right product assortment within strategic accounts and the greater Outdoor, Sporting Goods, Lifestyle, and Independent channel to align with in-store experiences.
  • Maintain account plans aligned to deliver and support brand sales directions and merchandising strategies.
  • Utilize an effective, consultative approach to provide insight-based solutions to strategic accounts, establishing our brand as a world-class partner in the trade.
  • Build insightful and influential brand ambassadors within strategic accounts to help identify opportunities and deliver a best-in-class Icebreaker experience at retail.
  • Partner with marketing and brand experience on in-store events and marketing campaigns.
  • Fully understand customer needs and decision-making processes to create win-win solutions.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' sales/marketing account management experience, ideally in the outdoor apparel industry or retail landscape in Switzerland.
  • Outstanding customer service standards.
  • Insight and high commercial acumen.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Proven analytical skills combined with attention to detail.
  • Proven revenue delivery.
  • Exceptional relationship building and management skills, with a motivation to meet targets.
  • Great time-management and prioritizing skills, with experience delivering to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in French and English. Swiss German is a plus.
  • Availability to spend up to 25% of time on the road in Switzerland.
