About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Sales Professional to join our Sales team in Western Switzerland. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic accounts for the assigned categories of business in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and maximize channel profitability.
  • Manage the sell-in process by adhering to account proposals and ensuring full price selling and margin.
  • Provide detailed sales analysis to accurately reflect demand in the marketplace.
  • Effectively launch new seasons by ensuring stores are fully stocked, visually merchandised, and POS is up-to-date.
  • Ensure inventory flows effectively and responsibly through the market by working with key operational stakeholders.
  • Implement the right product assortment within strategic accounts and the greater market to align with the in-store experience.
  • Maintain account plans that are aligned to deliver and support brand sales directions and merchandising strategies.
  • Use an effective, consultative approach to providing insight-based solutions to strategic accounts.
  • Build insightful and influential brand ambassadors within strategic accounts to help identify opportunities and deliver a best-in-class experience.
  • Utilize understanding of industry trends, market/competitor data to develop account and business plans.
  • Partner with marketing and brand experience on in-store events and marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' sales/marketing account management experience, ideally for an outdoor apparel wholesaler or retail landscape in Switzerland.
  • Outstanding customer service standards.
  • Insight, and a high level of commercial acumen.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Proven analytical skills combined with an attention to detail.
  • Proven revenue delivery.
  • Exceptional relationship building & management skills and motivation to meet targets.
  • Great time-management and prioritizing skills and experience delivering to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in French and English. Swiss German is a plus.
  • Availability to spend up to 25% of time on the road in Switzerland.
