Work & Work SA, a leading scientific company based in Lugano, Switzerland, is seeking an experienced Scientific Programmes Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation and development of scientific programmes for events.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. A degree or professional administrative experience in an office environment is required. Experience in event management or interest in scientific publications is an advantage.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of approximately CHF 50,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and development of scientific programmes for events.
  • Manage Scientific Committees and invited speakers, including coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Support abstract management, including submission processes and communication with presenters.
  • Help with the preparation and updating of online programmes and event-related communications.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for travel, accommodation, and other logistical needs.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department, including meeting minutes and expense reimbursement processing.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or professional administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in event management or interest in scientific publications is an advantage.
