Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Facility Management organization at a client in the Pharma sector in Schachen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing regular projects independently, involving new construction, expansion, modification, and/or replacement of buildings, facilities, and sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a plan of approach with a tender, formulating a schedule of requirements, and subcontracting to an architect, structural engineer, or consultant, while supervising the design.
- Contract and subcontract work with contractors, suppliers, and installers, evaluating quotations, and commissioning work.
- Monitor the agreed time, cost, and quality schedule, ensuring timely delivery to the client in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Participate in periodic work meetings, documenting and keeping records of financial transactions for invoicing purposes.
- Support the Project Director in acquiring new assignments.
Person Specification/Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in construction, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or more than 7 years of work experience in a similar position.
- Addition courses in project management are beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and IT literacy.
- Numerical skills and some financial acumen.
- Leadership and coordination skills.
- Fluent English and German language proficiency.
