Strategic Finance Leader for Global Commercial Organization

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Leader to join our team as Head of Finance Global Commercial Organization.

This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage financial expertise to inform business strategy and drive growth initiatives
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate financial planning and forecasting
  • Provide financial guidance and analysis to support business leaders in making informed decisions
  • Lead the commercial finance team worldwide, owning all tasks around accounting, operational controlling, financial planning, and analysis
  • Collaborate with global finance and local finance teams to ensure compliance with global standards and best practices
  • Develop and implement financial controls and risk management practices to safeguard the integrity of financial data
  • Work with the business and CSL Vifor Finance to ensure business process excellence and identify needs in information analysis, business systems, and decision-making support
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent in accounting and/or controlling, CPA or equivalent
  • 10 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with financial systems, processes, and controls in publicly traded companies
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and significant financial planning and analysis experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to analyze, understand, and summarize complex commercial and financial topics
  • Ability to travel and language skills: English spoken and written, German or French or Spanish desirable
