Payroll Team Leader for Complex Payrolls

The Payroll Team Leader position at CSL is responsible for overseeing the management of a team that processes end-to-end payrolls for multiple countries with a total of over 4500 employees.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls in accordance with federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a payroll team based in Switzerland and Germany, focusing on team development and ensuring they meet Service level agreements and targets.
- Act as the first point of escalation for payroll-related matters, addressing complex employee queries from the Service Centre.
- Interpret policies and regulations regarding leaves, disability, allowances, one-time payments, garnishments, and work with payroll vendors to ensure correct application through payroll.
- Identify process improvements within assigned payrolls, collaborating with the Global Payroll Process Lead to implement changes.
- Support audits and reconciliations of payroll data for their payrolls, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
- Review payroll policies and procedures, ensuring consistency with organizational policies, and lead audits and reconciliations of payroll data.
- Bachelor's degree in HR/Accounting or Diploma in Payroll.
- 6-8 years of experience managing a large payroll team, processing end-to-end payrolls for multiple countries with exposure to TLM, taxation, audit, and compliance.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with high-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Process management and business process analysis competencies, supporting complex HR/Payroll models.
With an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience, this role offers a competitive compensation package. The company encourages well-being and recognizes its importance.
