DACH Region Legal Expert Lead

The Senior Legal Counsel DACH will be a key member of the CSL Vifor commercial organization, providing strategic and operational legal support to the business across the DACH region.
This role is responsible for:
- Providing strategic counsel to the CSL Vifor business on all relevant legal matters, including antitrust issues related to the commercial operations in the DACH region.
- Supporting the Commercial Excellence department with relevant projects.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of agreements as required by the business.
- Providing legal support for promotional reviews for relevant therapeutic areas.
- Staying informed on relevant legal and healthcare issues to proactively inform clients and help them prepare for changes in the healthcare environment.
- Partnering with the Ethics and Compliance function to ensure business processes are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Developing and delivering training on legal matters as required or requested.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree and J.D. or equivalent foreign degree.
- Bar admission in the DACH region, LL.M. preferred.
- 10+ years' international corporate or law firm experience.
- 5+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop pragmatic solutions.
- Self-motivated, self-starter, results-oriented.
- Fluent knowledge (verbal and written) and use of German and English, also in a legal context.
