About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Detector Integration Engineer to join our team at CERN, contributing to the integration studies of detectors for the Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee). This critical role involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  • Orient detector proposals towards optimal physics performance through engineering integration studies.
  • Conduct structural calculations using Ansys and 3D CAD modeling with Dassault Catia.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of high-energy physics detector design and integration challenges.
  • Familiarity with machine component integration within detector volumes and related services management.
  • Problem-solving skills to address complex integration issues.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively across teams.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
  • Maximum two years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
  • Highest educational qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract experience.
  • Applicants without University degree or PhD are not eligible.
