FCC Detector Integration Specialist

Finding a Balance between Physics and EngineeringWe are seeking a skilled Detector Integration Engineer to contribute to the integration studies of the detectors for the Future Circular Collider (FCC-ee). This role involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize detector proposals for physics performance while conducting engineering integration studies.
The Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset. You should have a professional background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and either a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer an attractive monthly stipend ranging between CHF 6,212 and CHF 6,828 per month, net of tax. Our comprehensive health scheme covers you, your spouse, and children. Depending on your individual circumstances, you may also receive installation grants, family, child, and infant allowances, as well as payment of travel expenses at the beginning and end of contract.
