About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Parts Supervisor to join our team at Tesla Switzerland GmbH. As a key member of our Parts team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers and the growth of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Support Parts Advisors: Collaborate with Parts Advisors to achieve key performance indicators, including customer satisfaction, productivity, profitability, and cost savings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Consistently monitor performance and be responsible for quality within your team, motivating, leading, and inspiring team members in continuous improvements and efficiencies.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct regular one-to-one sessions and feedback with team members, providing constructive coaching and following up on development training and personnel cases. Identify roadblocks and ensure team members have the necessary tools and training to perform their roles successfully.
  • Standardization and Data Accuracy: Ensure parts standards and procedures are up-to-date, and all work is compliant, with accurate recording of parts transactions and data into the system.
  • Escalations: Manage complex escalations with your team, resolving and defusing difficult conversations across all communication channels.
  • Accountability: Be accountable for end-to-end completeness of inventory from receiving to fulfillment and invoicing/consumption, partnering with the service manager to guarantee efficient and seamless service to customers, ensuring parts are available and escalations processes are followed.
  • Collaboration: Liaise daily with internal teams within the Service Centre, including Service & Delivery and local Senior Management.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Lead Service or Parts Advisor in a customer-facing industry.
  • Proven ability to lead by example and innovate processes and efficiencies. Ability and desire to lead and motivate a team, to engage and facilitate others to achieve and succeed.
  • Analytical ability to understand and impact key performance indicators and initiative to fix problems when they arise, but also understand why and how they happened.
  • Interest in developing yourself as a people manager and continuously grow by actively learning, self-assessing, and asking for feedback and building trust.
  • Ability to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems.
  • Effective communication, reading, and writing skills in English, with German or French language skills required.
  • A valid driving license and safe driving record, with the ability to travel over 80% within the supervisory/region accountable.
