Store Team Lead

Job Mission:

As a key member of the Gi Group SA team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the in-store team to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance KPIs and be able to effectively manage and coach the team to achieve targets.

Main Responsibilities:

Client-Centric Activities:

- Ensure a seamless client experience in-store, providing personalized support and guidance to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies to connect, convert, retain, and reactivate clients.
- Assist in setting and achieving quantitative and qualitative objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Execute CRM activities to drive retention and conversion targets, leveraging digital tools to enhance the client journey.
- Manage VIP and top spender clients, providing exceptional service and support.
- Handle delicate sales and after-sales situations with tact and professionalism.

Team Coaching:

- Recruit and retain top talent, ensuring career development and succession plans are in place.
- Continuously assess and coach team skills, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
- Foster a positive and professional team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Ensure proper onboarding of new hires, providing comprehensive training and support.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and HR on employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Product Handling:

- Adhere to safety and operational guidelines, ensuring a secure and efficient work environment.
- Ensure stock provision and proper mix, maintaining a high level of product availability and presentation.
- Safeguard valuable products and materials, preventing loss or damage.
- Conduct regular stock checks and manage product transfers, ensuring accurate inventory levels.

Store Image:

- Maintain visual criteria and store cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming and attractive environment for clients.
- Plan and verify display fittings with the In-Store Visual team, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual presentation.

Key Competencies:

- Effective management and coaching skills, with a strong focus on team development and performance.
- Transparent and effective communication, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies.
- Strong understanding of performance KPIs, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent product and storytelling knowledge, with the ability to engage clients and drive sales.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
