Store Team Lead

Job Mission:

As a key member of the Gi Group SA team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in executing business strategy. Your primary objective will be to lead the team in enhancing client engagement and connection, ensuring budget and target achievement through effective team management and driving strategic performance KPIs.

Main Responsibilities:

Client-Centric Activities:

- Ensure an exceptional client experience in-store by providing personalized service and addressing client needs.
- Coach the team to connect, convert, retain, and reactivate clients, fostering strong relationships and driving sales growth.
- Assist in setting and achieving quantitative and qualitative objectives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Execute CRM activities to achieve retention and conversion targets, leveraging digital tools to enhance the client journey.
- Manage VIP and top spender clients, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
- Handle delicate sales and after-sales situations with tact and professionalism.
Team Coaching:

- Recruit and retain talent, ensuring career development and succession plans that align with company goals.
- Continuously assess and coach team skills, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
- Shift focus from transactions to relationship building, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews and provide constructive feedback, driving team growth and development.
- Collaborate with Store Manager and HR on employee relations, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
Product Handling:

- Adhere to safety and operational guidelines, ensuring a secure and efficient work environment.
- Ensure stock provision and proper mix, maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
- Safeguard valuable products and materials, preventing loss and damage.
- Conduct regular stock checks and manage product transfers, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Store Image:

- Maintain visual criteria and store cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Plan and verify display fittings with the In-Store Visual team, creating an engaging and attractive store experience.
Key Competencies:

- Effective management and coaching skills, with a focus on team development and growth.
- Transparent and effective communication, ensuring clear and concise messaging across the team.
- Strong understanding of performance KPIs, driving data-driven decision making and strategic planning.
- Excellent product and storytelling knowledge, enabling effective sales and service delivery.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
