Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Elliot Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the administrative, technical, and commercial aspects of field service projects.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with the Regional Field Service Manager, Contract Administration team, Site Project Manager, and Service Sales Engineers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Your primary focus will be on coordinating project activities from inquiry to final billing and collection, requiring strong independent action and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive and review project inquiries, performing site surveys to estimate labor and material resources required for project completion.
  2. Prepare detailed cost make-ups and proposals, including workscope, PERT chart, GANTT chart, and labor histogram for Field Service projects.
  3. Assist Service Sales in the selling effort, promoting the sale of new Field Service.
  4. Mobilize labor and material resources for Field Service projects, including coordination and scheduling of subcontractors.
  5. Monitor purchasing and coordination of subcontractors and goods.
  6. Track revenue and cost generated by extra work.
  7. Perform internal project management using provided tools, promoting safety in all work to prevent injury to personnel and equipment.
  8. Attend project close-out or lessons learned meetings with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in field service or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a strong understanding of contractual, commercial, and technical aspects of projects.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent documentation and report preparation skills.
  • Ability to prepare detailed cost make-ups and track project revenue and expenses.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to promoting safety and quality in all project activities.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location

This role is based in Lachen, Switzerland, with occasional travel required (25% travel requirement).
