We are a dynamic team of food enthusiasts at Madame Sum, founded by three alumni of EHL. Our passion is to create innovative dumplings that exceed the expectations of real foodies in Switzerland.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and contribute to our growth as one of the fastest-growing food brands in Switzerland.
Estimated Salary: CHF 60,000 - CHF 80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for daily production and execution of recipes in a fast-paced production kitchen environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Production Manager to execute daily tasks and improve processes.
The ideal candidate will have minimum kitchen experience, preferably in a production kitchen setting. Kitchen studies or similar qualifications are also required. A young and dynamic mindset, willingness to learn, and a collaborative team spirit are essential for success in this role.
You will be responsible for preparing food for catering, events, and other occasions, while ensuring high-quality standards and adhering to HACCP protocols. Your duties will also include receiving, handling, and replenishing dry and fresh products, as well as performing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory tasks to minimize material waste.
