Sécheron Hasler Group, a leading global supplier of electrical and electronic safety components and solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing business prospecting new clients and managing current accounts for existing and new products covering railway as well as renewable energy and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business prospecting new clients and manage current accounts for existing and new products.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, product line managers, product development teams, marketing, and other business units.
  • Prepare and organize key business meetings with prospective clients to develop business opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback to product development teams and after-sales support.
  • Identify market opportunities in railway, industrial, and renewable energy applications, guide the development of new business segments, and the product roadmap.
  • Develop business cases for individual products in strong cooperation with product line managers and the sales team.
  • Prepare product launch and market placement plans in close cooperation with marketing, sales, and product line managers.
  • Provide technical expertise, drive customer-oriented activities, implement company strategies, introduce Sécheron's products on future platforms.
  • Analyze customer requests and needs, and ensure clients get firm offers according to their needs, technical specifications, in a timely manner, for products, solutions, and services.
  • Develop after-sales services.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in Electrical / Electromechanical / Power Electronics Engineering or alternatively Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven successful track record introducing power products to new international clients, thereby driving key people across the organization.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful technical and sales experience in an electrical equipment environment.
  • Good knowledge of at least one of the following industry sectors: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy, and e-mobility.
  • Interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems and corresponding product needs.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop convincing communication strategies based on technical rationale.
  • Proven ability to think creatively, identify, and resolve problems.
  • Experienced to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent English (written and oral), French, and/or German desirable.
  • Open to frequent traveling.
