Job Description
The Risk Manager role serves 3 main functions: executing hedges for the oilseed complex, general risk management, and optimizing hedges by leveraging information through ADM's large physical trading network.
Daily Functions
This includes managing internal order flow from destination, processing, and origination facilities across EMEA, determining optimal hedge and execution strategies using CBOT, ICE, and EURONEXT Agriculture derivatives, and participating in discussion on trade flows and supply and demand grids.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in agricultural markets, preferably commercial experience in physical cash markets
- Understanding and experience in trading derivatives markets, preferably agricultural markets
- Must be numerate, analytical, and disciplined with a strong work ethic and interest in global macro markets as well as specific markets in which ADM is involved
- Able to think uniquely and formulate ideas, reports, and strategies that can add value to the desk's current expertise
- Thorough understanding of physical cash market dynamics and the processing business risk positions generated as a result of ADM's business
- Desire to be part of a team; Risk Management is the focus not individual trading

Estimated Salary
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
