Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Soybean Market Trader and Analyst to join our team at ADM. This role involves trading soybeans in the global market, identifying trading opportunities, and supporting our global assets.

About the Role

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for:

  • Trading cash markets in North America, South America, and the Black Sea;
  • Maintaining existing and developing new customers, with a focus on non-China destinations;
  • Assisting in the execution process for contracts and vessels, including nominations, specs, documentation, and payment;
  • FOLLOWING FUTURES MARKET TO IDENTIFY TRENDS AND TRADING OPPORTUNITIES, MANAGE RISK WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF CONTRIBUTING TO MAXIMIZING RESULTS.
Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Follow and trade cash markets, at origins North America, South America and black sea;
  2. Maintain existing and develop new customers, focus to non-China destinations, pricing accordingly CnF/CIF to customers and internal DM offices;
  3. Assist to follow execution processes for contracts and vessels with the execution team, including nominations, specs, documentation and payment ;
  4. Follow futures market to identify trends and trading opportunities, to manage risk with the objective of contributing to maximizing results.
  5. Follow supply and demand, participate in discussions with particular focus on trade flows forecasts and estimate demand coverage, supporting in providing analysis of market data;
  6. Communicating market developments and coordination to/with ADM teams both at local level and globally through analysis, support preparation of market reports;
  7. Follow and do logistics controls, coordination with execution, origins, customers and freight.
  8. Responsible for trade contracts, pricings, ETF system input and Long/Short position;
  9. Commercial controls, help prepare and maintain Position, PNL controls and traded statistics;
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Understanding of positions, risk management, cash and futures markets;
  • 3 years working experience trading Agri commodity Cash markets,
  • High degree of numeracy;
  • University degree in economics, business administration, agronomy or similar;
  • Fluent in English; other languages is a plus;
  • Strong communication skills, bringing high energy and commitment, open to challenges and learning
  • Proficient in MS Office.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
