Job Title: Group HR Partner and C&B Manager

At Michael Page, we are seeking a highly skilled Group HR Partner and Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and contribute to the development of our HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with management and employees to understand the business, its needs, operations, and challenges, enabling informed decision-making.
  • HR Process and Risk Management: Advise management on HR processes and risks, collaborating with local HR teams and stakeholders to provide expertise and guidance.
  • Collaboration and Training: Promote collaboration within the HR community, offering training on tools and resources to enhance local HR operations.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching to local HR Managers and employees as needed.
  • Thought Leadership: Encourage business partners to rethink HR and operational issues, serving as a thought partner and modeling creative problem-solving to influence business decisions.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives: Lead HR projects, policies, and initiatives to ensure consistent practices across the Group.
  • Recruitment: Handle recruitment for key positions within the Group.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Compensation and Benefits Strategy: Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that align with business needs and the overall reward strategy.
  • C&B Program Design: Design and implement C&B programs to meet short-term and long-term objectives, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Local HR Support: Support local HR teams in budgeting, remuneration revisions, and incentive cycles.
  • Performance Cycle Management: Monitor and manage the annual performance cycles and ensure proper execution.
  • Global Benefits Review: Review and assess global benefits, including pension plans, to enhance competitiveness, fairness, and cost efficiency.
  • Industry Trends and Benchmarks: Stay updated on industry trends through surveys and benchmarks, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Ad-hoc C&B Projects: Lead or participate in ad-hoc C&B projects, such as job positioning and mapping.
  • C&B Program Communication: Develop and communicate C&B programs to employees, managers, and HR teams.
  • HR Software Implementation: Advise on the implementation or integration of new HR software systems.
Talent Management:
  • Talent Management Approach: Develop and implement the Group's Talent Management approach, covering recruitment, performance management, succession planning, rewards, and training.
  • Succession Planning: Support regional HR leads with succession planning and contingency plans.
  • Performance Management: Provide performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Recruiting Process Improvement: Build relationships within the organization to influence and improve the recruiting process.
  • Talent Pool Analysis: Work with the HRIS manager to analyze talent pool data and derive insights.
Key Working Relations:
  • Internal: Direct Manager, Senior Management, Business Line Managers, Support Functions Managers, Corporate and Local HR teams, WAF & EAF HR Leads, HRIS Manager, Managing Directors and local Management teams, Regional positions and equivalents.
  • External: Consultants and service providers, Recruitment agencies, Labor law experts.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a lower degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience collaborating with leadership to implement process improvements, policies, and HR programs.
  • International HR experience, including navigating employment laws, regulations, training, and HR best practices.
  • Extensive expertise in Compensation & Benefits, with exposure to international environments.
  • Ability to influence and advocate at all organizational levels, with a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Experience in capturing metrics and producing HR reports.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a matrix environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Previous experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Willingness to travel at least three times per year.
