Cost Management Director for Complex Construction Projects

We are seeking an experienced Cost Management Director to lead the delivery of complex construction projects at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management services and driving projects to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities- Provide expert cost management services, including estimate and cost planning, feasibility studies, and procurement reporting.
- Lead teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Compile contractual documents, tender lists, and tender reports, and perform all aspects of procurement.
- Manage cost checks and valuation deliverables on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost checking and valuation processes.
- Produce monthly cost reports, including presenting to clients, and lead value engineering initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in cost management, with a proven track record of leading cost management commissions for large construction projects.
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
- People management experience, particularly in the context of managing a team delivering a project.
- Sound technical experience in all cost management areas, pre-contract, post-contract, and final account.
