Accounting Leadership Professional

We are recruiting a skilled professional to fill the role of Director, Accounting and Treasury in our International Secretariat.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for leading the Accounting & Treasury pillar for the organisation, reporting to the Global Finance Director. The successful candidate will oversee various aspects including accounting, financial controls, external audit, taxation, financial statements, and treasury.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain robust financial control and assurance mechanisms across WWF International with appropriate lines of defence in place to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage the end-to-end process of the interim and year-end external audit process, collaborating closely with Country Directors and Finance Leaders.
- Develop and embed financial control and assurance mechanisms in collaboration with Internal Audit and Accountability teams.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and managerial skills, a proven track record of prudent financial management, and executive decision-making abilities. A post-graduate university degree in finance or business administration, or a related subject, is an advantage. Fluency in English is essential, and other languages, especially French, would be an asset.

Location and SalaryThe successful candidate can work from one of WWF's International Hubs, and we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
