Sustainability Professional for Climate Action and Stakeholder Engagement

**Mission:**

In this key role, you will collaborate with the UCI Cycling for All & Sustainability Manager to plan, implement, and deliver impactful Sustainability projects, driving engagement both internally within departments and externally with stakeholders from the cycling community. Additionally, you will assist in administrative tasks arising from this sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the effective implementation of the UCI's Sustainability Agenda 2030, including developing and updating planned deliverables, policies, and guidelines across departments.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of the UCI's climate transition plan, involving the annual calculation of its organisational carbon footprint.
  • Ensure coordination and follow-up with all UCI Climate Action Charter signatories, including adherence to future reporting requirements.
  • Organise internal and external sustainability working group meetings, ensuring effective communication among participants.
  • Assist in implementing climate action education initiatives for cycling family stakeholders.
  • Provide critical support in preparing regular progress reports for the UCI Management Committee and UCI Cycling for All & Sustainable Cycling Commission.

Profile:

  • Hold completed studies in sustainability or environmental management or a comparable qualification.
  • Possess several years of professional experience in sustainability, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Have a strong understanding of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English and French.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to engage various internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Show leadership abilities to facilitate meetings and networks.
  • Be comfortable using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrate very good written and organisational skills.
  • Show sense of responsibility, autonomy, proactivity, adaptability.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have a high interest in sports, with cycling being a plus.

Benefits: This position offers an attractive salary range between CHF 65,000 - 85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
