Superconducting Device Fabrication Specialist

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Engineer to join our team at the CMi (Center of Micro- and Nanotechnology) at EPFL. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and optimization of fabrication processes for superconducting devices.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize existing fabrication processes at the CMi to improve device performance and yield.
- Develop and implement new fabrication recipes for next-generation superconducting devices.
- Collaborate with research teams to design and fabricate quantum circuits and devices.
- Contribute to regular team meetings to report on project progress and discuss challenges and solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with nanofabrication techniques and processes.
- Proficiency in cleanroom protocols and equipment operation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop and optimize fabrication recipes for superconducting devices.
- Initiative and creativity in developing new fabrication techniques and processes.
