Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Respond to and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve our IT services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and other resources to support our IT services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other common IT software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow or JIRA.
- Knowledge of network protocols, cybersecurity best practices, and data backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience with cloud-based services, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
- Certifications in ITIL, CompTIA A+, or other relevant technical certifications.
