Chief Information Technology Officer Job Description
Aman is seeking a visionary Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to lead the strategy, implementation, and management of its technology infrastructure, focusing on growth and expansion globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a unified technology strategy that supports business goals, identifying innovative technologies to improve guest services and drive revenue growth.
- Lead and inspire a geographically dispersed IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and developing strategies for talent acquisition, retention, and development.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance, and standardizing IT policies and procedures for consistency and compliance.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service and support, and taking an analytical approach to the current and future state of infrastructure.
- Lead and oversee major technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, and collaborating with hotel management teams to identify technology needs and opportunities for operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Expertise in digital platforms, services, and products, covering all internal and externally focused digital aspects of the company.
- Proficiency in enterprise IT, with experience in managing internally focused hardware and software designed to meet the demands of day-to-day operations, including infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Advanced skills in data and analytics, including applications of enterprise data, data mining, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling to enhance insights.
- Experience managing technology across multiple locations, ideally globally and/or within the hospitality industry, is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies, and experience with property management systems, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other hospitality technologies.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a large, geographically dispersed IT team, and demonstrated success in managing large-scale and complex technology projects.
