A competitive monthly stipend ranging from 6212 to 6828 Swiss Francs (net of tax) will be provided.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in developing advanced quench detection systems.
The successful candidate will work on the design, development, and validation of digitally controlled stimulus generation sources and high-precision measurement systems using state-of-the-art electronics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Mixed electronics design, embedded systems, programmable logic (VHDL, FPGA), digital signal processing (DSP), DSP implementation in hardware, high-speed data acquisition, Ethernet communication, software development (C++/Python)
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an advantage
- Master's degree with 2-6 years of post-graduation professional experience or PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience
- No prior CERN fellow or graduate contract experience
