About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at STAEGER PERSONAL PARTNERS. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key role in our biofuels operations.

Job Description

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our biofuels operations. Your primary focus will be on coordinating with internal departments, such as trading and terminals, as well as external contacts, including suppliers, customers, and shipping companies.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Informing logistics service providers (LSPs) and terminals about loading and discharge schedules
  • Consulting with traders to discuss contract positions and market trends
  • Coordinating nominations with suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Processing and approving invoices
  • Anticipating and resolving potential issues and changes in the market
  • Coordinating with terminal operators to ensure efficient biofuels operations
  • Communicating with various stakeholders, including PQ&Q, Trade, and Plan-team, to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Identifying and reporting any deviations or issues to the relevant teams
  • Assigning inspectors to monitor operations
  • Optimizing planning and organization of available contracts to maximize efficiency

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commercial education background and experience in logistics and shipping
  • 3-10 years of experience as a Traffic Operator with biofuels or other petrochemical products
  • Liquid cargo experience, particularly with barges
  • Excellent business English skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely; German is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to build effective working relationships in an international environment
  • Self-motivation, result-oriented problem-solving skills
