About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Due Diligence Specialist to join our team at Hochstrasser Personal.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with regional teams and subject matter experts to advance our commitment to human rights and environmental due diligence within the cocoa supply chain. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing rigorous due diligence processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory mandates and enterprise priorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and Documenting Due Diligence Processes
  • Conducting Comprehensive Due Diligence Assessments
  • Analyzing Data and Information to Identify Potential Risks and Opportunities

You will also be responsible for:

  • Developing Procedures for Greater Assurance
  • Leveraging Findings from Audit Reports
  • Managing Third-Party Assurance Providers

In addition, you will collaborate with internal teams and external subject matter experts to gather relevant information and insights for due diligence and assurance processes. You will make recommendations for the strengthening of cocoa-specific and broader enterprise due diligence and assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • 5+ years of experience in environmental, human rights, due diligence or related compliance roles
  • Experience working in global and complex supply chains
  • Framework creation, procedure and process documentation
  • Experience working in the cocoa sector or similar industries
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in due diligence and compliance, with experience working in complex supply chains.

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
