Senior Global Supply Chain Manager

Our client, a leading commodity trading company based in Zug, Switzerland, is seeking an experienced Senior Global Supply Chain Manager to oversee the international transportation of goods.
About the Role- You will be responsible for organizing container shipments in collaboration with our trading department and interacting with various stakeholders, including internal departments, ship brokers, insurance companies, inspection companies, customers, and agents.
- Familiarity with financial aspects of international transactions, such as opening letters of credit, negotiating and issuing documents, and managing credit limits, is essential.
- You will supervise the execution of physical trades of goods in containers, bulk, bags, or liquid form and interact with various stakeholders, including internal departments, banks, insurance companies, inspection companies, sellers, buyers, and intermediates.
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a similar position or exposure to commodity trading, logistics, operations of seaborne trade, or trade finance is required.
- Ideal candidates should have experience in container and bulk shipments.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure are necessary.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, making this an attractive opportunity for professionals looking to advance their careers in global supply chain management.
