Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue by developing and executing strategic plans to engage with customers and prospects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering compelling sales messages and presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Providing expert-level support to customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through to closure.

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer working with enterprise customers, preferably at a vendor.
  • A BSc in computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Pre-sales experience in security solutions, including firewalls, security proxies, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience and knowledge of modern security threats.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex problems.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in German.
