About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Engineer to join our team at Thomson Reuters Labs. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative solutions that drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using modern software development practices.
  • Create large-scale data processing pipelines to support machine learning algorithm development.
  • Design and implement scalable systems for large online delivery environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share information and drive innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute innovative ideas to drive business growth.
  • Effectively communicate technical developments to cross-functional partners and team members.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Engineer with a strong background in AI and ML. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in machine learning and natural language processing.
  • Expertise in Python software development stacks and ecosystems.
  • Experience with machine learning capabilities and techniques, including probabilistic models and mathematical concepts.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications.
