Purpose of the role:

The Senior Director Procurement Transformation will spearhead the end to end strategic transformation of the procurement function.

The Senior Director Procurement Transformation will lead Procurement's end to end functional transformation with focus on reimagining procurement's data strategy and governance, processes and systems landscape, enabling the function to leap frog into the future. The objective and key responsibilities of this role are:

• Define Procurement's Transformational strategy, including roadmap, detailed business cases, detailed implementation plans, interdependencies, opportunities and risks with big enterprise programs (i.e.Big Seven).
• Disrupt procurement's own operating model and drive new ways of working for the function.
• Identify margin enhancement opportunities for Kenvue through advanced analytics and data driven insights on the 3 rd party spend and internal and external vendor data managed through procurement, including relevant use cases.
• Drive better and faster functional decision making.
• Automate Procurement's transactional and operational processes requiring less operational resources (FTE's) to execute those processes and activities.
• Enhancing end user experience on procurement processes, including self-service opportunities, to decrease functional cost.
• Increase overall functional productivity through adoption of new technologies ( i.e. definition of Gen AI use cases for procurement).
• Understand established and emerging procurement platforms, processes, and operating frameworks, as well as the potential functional applications of emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
2. Develop and execute procurement end to end functional transformation strategy across data, processes and systems to support Procurement's short and long-term goals delivery.
3. Continually understand Procurement and key stakeholders' expectations related to Data, processes, and systems and integrate them in the functional strategy and transformational roadmaps.
4. Lead cross-functional teams across procurement, DTO, Data & Tech, and supply chain operations to execute on the defined functional roadmap, programs and initiatives.
5. Provide coaching, mentoring and development opportunities to cross-functional team members.
6. Drive the overall end to end transformational roadmap to:
7. Improve Procurement own functional cost-effectiveness and operating budget.
8. Enhancing Kenvue end user experience when operating with procurement processes and systems.
9. Identify incremental savings opportunities on the 3 rd party spend and vendor landscape managed through procurement through advance analytics use cases.
10. Transformational Excellence:
11. Lead and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Procurement, DTO, Tech & Data, and Supply Chain Operations.
12. Drive successful implementation and adoption of the relevant solutions as per defined roadmaps and plans.
13. Drive seamless integration of the required new systems, solutions, programs, and initiatives for procurement to be able to transform and operate effectively post TSA exits.
14. Lead the end to end implementation of procurement's data strategy and governance, processes and systems with the resources provided by Procurement, DTO, Tech & Data, and Supply Chain Operations on time and in full
15. Develop and manage metrics to track and report on the performance of defined programs and initiatives as per the functional strategy and roadmaps.
16. Financial Management:
17. Develop and manage the detailed business cases for procurement's functional transformation roadmap, including budgets (approx. USD 30 Mio), resource needs and approvals.
18. Identify cost-saving opportunities to achieve budget targets without jeopardizing the delivery timescales or the expected outcomes.
19. Ensure financial objectives and budgets are met by analyzing and controlling expenditures, and by taking corrective actions as necessary based on approved budget and resources.
20. Risk Management:
21. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the delivery of the required programs and initiatives, including interdependencies with big enterprise programs ( Big 7).
22. Develop contingency plans and strategies to ensure business continuity in case of disruptions or shortfalls.
23. Team Leadership:
24. Lead a high-performing team of cross - functional leaders across Procurement, DTO, Tech & Data, and Supply Chain Operations.
25. Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to cross-functional team members.
26. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within procurement and across DTO, Tech & Data, Supply Chain operations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

· A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Data Science, Analytics) highly preferred.

• 15 years in data & digital transformation, and technology implementation is essential, including significant experience in consulting with leading firms.
• A proven track record of leading and managing large, diverse global teams is necessary, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organisational goals is required.
• Experience in successfully implementing process improvements and new technologies in large organisations is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to build and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Proficiency in advanced analytics, data science methodologies, and relevant technologies is required, along with familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong data analysis skills are essential, leveraging data and insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• An innovative mindset with a passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies is crucial.
• Proven Experience : Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong focus on digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse global teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
• Technical Proficiency : In-depth knowledge of advanced analytics, procurement technologies, and digital tools that enhance procurement processes.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in fast-moving consumer goods industry preferred.
• A background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is highly desirable.
• Experience as a public speaker or thought leader in relevant industry conferences or events.
• Publication of articles or white papers in recognised industry journals or platforms.
• Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and blockchain in procurement or supply chain contexts.
