Senior Sales Professional for Institutional Clients in Bern

About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Sales professional to join our Swiss Institutional Clients team in Bern. This role offers an excellent opportunity to acquire new clients, manage existing relationships, and contribute to the growth of our business in the region.
As a Senior Sales professional, you will be responsible for:
- Covering the institutional market in the Bern region, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to acquire new clients.
- Managing a sales pipeline, ensuring a structured approach to lead generation, follow-up, and conversion.
- Becoming an expert in our investment offering, understanding client requirements, and providing tailored solutions.
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure optimal coverage of client needs during RFP and tender processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in institutional client acquisition, with at least 4 years of sales experience.
- Strong sales skills, hunting desire, and a commercial mindset.
- A university degree in business, economics, or finance, or similar education.
- Good knowledge of the institutional market in Bern, including pension funds, foundations, and insurance companies.
- An existing network with institutional clients in Bern.
- Experience in selling ESG strategies would be an advantage.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- German (or Swiss German) native language and excellent English verbal and written skills.
- High personal integrity.
We offer a competitive salary range of CHF 120,000 - 150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including a comprehensive health insurance package, pension plan, and generous leave policy.
