About the Company

Our client is a leading Semiconductor manufacturer specializing in the design of ICs for various markets with customers across the world. They are currently recruiting for a Sales & Business Development Manager to join them on a full-time basis, working from their head office in Switzerland and covering clients across the DACH region.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Field sales and marketing activities for products and customers in the DACH Region
  2. KPIs: sales revenue and design wins
  3. Develop sales strategies for the territory in alignment with company objectives to achieve growth & revenue targets
  4. Identify and develop new customers, market segments and opportunities
  5. Identify, qualify and manage sales channels, reps and distributors
  6. Engage with eco-system partners to bring to the market complete solutions focusing on our client's chips
  7. Analyze and understand the competitive landscape and work together with the BUs to adjust the positioning, strategy, as well as future product development
  8. Provide support to customers from design phase through mass production
  9. Establish and maintain key customer relationships at all levels, including Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, and Management
  10. Drive C-level interaction between customers / eco-system partners
  11. Lead the commercial negotiations and drive the execution of development contracts with the different internal and external stakeholders (R&D, legal, quality and logistics)
  12. Travel as needed for customer engagement and business development
Requirements:
  1. Experience selling connectivity and RFID solutions – BLE, Wireless, RFID, NFC, IoT and Sensor applications
  2. Business development – green field opportunity identification, qualification and design in
  3. Good network within the territory, with particular focus on Germany
  4. Understanding of RFID industry eco-system and ability to engage with its main stakeholders for driving business
  5. Account penetration at all levels, including engineering, business management, and purchasing
  6. Identification of key stakeholders and relationship building
  7. Strong communication skills, ability to articulate our client's value proposition in a crisp and concise manner, adapted to the target audience
  8. Excellent listener, good understanding of customer organizational dynamics, navigating through the customer platforms & systems to maximize sales & product fit
  9. Technical sales of proprietary & complex solutions at the architecture & concept stages
  10. Comfortable with C-level and Engineering level interactions
  11. Understanding of eco-system sales and engagement with relevant partners
  12. Autonomy and initiative, ability to operate remotely and interact effectively across the entire organization
  13. Minimum 10 years of experience in selling technology in the electronics/semiconductor space
  14. Background with ASICs, mixed signal IC's, BLE, Sensors, NFC, RFID, and wireless is a must
  15. Education: Minimum BSEE or equivalent
  16. Language skills: German and English are mandatory, French is a plus
  17. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and to work with minimal guidance and supervision
  18. Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player, professional attitude & work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, and detail-oriented
  19. Strong communication and networking skills
