Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerodynamics Systems Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of integrated software and hardware systems, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain project plans and schedules based on inputs such as WBS/WBE and estimate efforts.
  • Define detailed activity planning, including project reviews based on mandated engineering processes.
  • Chair engineering review meetings, capturing decisions and assigning actions/tasks using tools like Jira and BigPicture.
  • Coordinate communication among the GBTS engineering team to ensure tasks are conducted as planned and defined KPIs can be measured.
  • Coordinate communication with production engineering to ensure correct planning and delivery of fabricate components.
  • Manage identified suppliers to ensure deliverables meet necessary timing and costs align with allocated project budget.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in engineering project management for design and development of integrated software and hardware systems.
  • Sound knowledge of system engineering processes and standards.
  • Proficiency in project management practices and procedures, as well as project management tools like Microsoft Project and BigPicture.
  • Excellent social and communication skills, with fluency in English (C1) both spoken and written.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, prioritizing tasks with a structured approach and working effectively in a team or individually.
