Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Mechanical Systems Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of innovative aircraft systems and component technologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Mechanical Systems Engineering Team in the continued development of innovative aircraft systems and component technologies.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Take technical responsibility and support of various subsystems, with a focus on fuel systems and fire protection systems.
  • Conduct system architecture and trade studies, possessing in-depth knowledge of systems development processes (ARP4754A).
  • Analyze systems through modeling and performance evaluation using ground and flight test data.
  • Manage the technical aspects of vendor-provided components, verifying compliance with certification requirements to FAR/EASA-CS Part 23 regulations utilizing the DOORS tool and producing Engineering Reports.
  • Develop test procedures for aircraft and rigs, ensuring high-quality results.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University Degree in aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within a development, integration & certification environment.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Systems control skills is beneficial.
  • Data analysis, technical documentation writing, and strong multitasking skills are essential.
  • Good spoken and written English is a must, with knowledge of German an advantage but not critical.
