Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on unique projects with a committed, international team. As a Chief Aircraft Systems Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Create and maintain project plans and schedules based on inputs such as WBS/WBE and estimate efforts, including delivery schedule provided by suppliers;
- Define the detailed activity planning, including project reviews based on mandated engineering processes (ISO 15288 for System Engineering and ISO 12207 for Software Engineering);
- Chair engineering review meetings, capturing decisions and assigning actions/tasks using tools such as Jira and BigPicture;
- Coordinate communication among the GBTS engineering team to ensure tasks are conducted as planned and defined KPIs can be measured;
- Coordinate communication with production engineering to ensure correct planning and delivery of fabricate components (e.g., parts and components);
- Manage identified suppliers ensuring deliverables are in line with necessary timing and costs are as per allocated project budget;
- Support estimation activities for timelines and costs of new projects;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An engineering master degree, preferably in software electronic or aeronautical engineering;
- At least five years of proven working experience in engineering project management for the design and development of integrated software and hardware systems, e.g., for the automotive or aviation industry;
- Sound knowledge of system engineering processes and standards (e.g., ISO 15288 or equivalent);
- Proficiency in project management practices and procedures as well as project management tools as Microsoft Project, BigPicture or similar;
- Excellent social and communication skills with a fluency in English (C1) both spoken and written;
- Ability to perform to tight deadlines and under pressure on parallel activities, prioritizing tasks with a structured approach and working equally well in a team or individually with a proactive attitude;
