Job Title: Brand Performance Director

Job Summary:

The Brand Performance Director is a key role within MSC Cruises, responsible for delivering an exceptional onboard experience to our guests. This position requires a strong leader who can define and implement the onboard product, ensuring it meets the high standards set by the company and exceeds guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the onboard product and monitor its implementation to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Lead the definition of the onboard product with all departments involved, submit budget for approval, and set time schedules for execution.
  • Closely monitor the start-up phase and ensure the on-time and within-budget execution of projects.
  • Be the point of contact for Onboard Hotel Directors for product-related issues.
  • Provide feedback to the Hotel Operations Team, F&B, and Crew HR to ensure and improve the correct delivery of the product.
  • Monitor the performances of assigned ships in terms of guest satisfaction and P&L.
  • Create brand guidelines, standard operational procedures, and KPIs for the entire fleet.
  • Analyze product delivery and onboard revenue results to ensure optimum implementation across the fleet.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction through comment forms, analytical systems, and dedicated surveys to identify key opportunities and propose corrective actions.
  • Monitor the operational dashboard of the fleet and liaise with all teams involved, both onboard and ashore, to facilitate continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Regularly visit ships to audit and support the onboard execution of set standards.
  • Coordinate Mystery Shoppers audits and manage follow-up visits.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in a senior role in the cruise industry is a must.
  • Previous experience at corporate level either in the cruise industry or in shoreside structures is highly desired.
  • Fluent English. Knowledge of another language is an advantage.
  • Graduation from a Hotel Management School is an advantage.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office Package.
  • Experience in budgeting and presenting projects at executive level.
  • Experience in managing remote teams.
  • Experience in managing several projects at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills in multicultural environments.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.

VISA Requirements:

EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
