About the Role

The Senior Corporate Legal Counsel will provide critical support to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) on all corporate and M&A matters globally, with a focus on the Swiss headquarters. This role involves overseeing the legal aspects of our business operations, including contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all corporate matters, including M&A deals, legal group setup, restructuring, and company secretary tasks
  • Support HR, IT, and Finance in legal matters related to employment and labor law, designing and updating policies, and consulting on cases and potential litigations with external advisors
  • Develop and implement the legal framework, guidelines, and support for the expansion and consolidation of the global corporate headquarters in Zug and the setup of new production sites
  • Provide guidance and leadership to local and regional legal heads on corporate matters
  • Stay informed on industry practices, law trends, and updates, providing expertise through internal consultations
  • Liaise with external legal advisors in Switzerland, Taiwan, Sweden, the United States, and other jurisdictions for topics requiring local expertise and specialty areas like data protection
  • Manage a paralegal supporting corporate tasks and the contract management system

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with PQE
  • Experience in corporate matters, M&A transactions, and HR law
  • Multinational environment experience
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
  • LLM from an accredited institution
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German

Salary Estimate

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
