Job Title: Senior Marketing Messaging Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Messaging Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing messaging strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing messaging strategies that align with our business objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of marketing messaging across all channels.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our brand and its unique value proposition.
  • Work closely with our product management and commercial teams to ensure that marketing messaging is aligned with product and sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a library of marketing messaging assets, including value propositions, product descriptions, and sales sheets.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on marketing messaging and sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing messaging and communications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing messaging and communications.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective marketing messaging strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and tools.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
