Administrative Intern

Viking is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Intern to join our Onboard Ocean Operations department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the organization of the Viking Enrichment Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in planning and organizing the Onboard Lecture Program
- Document lecturers' travel arrangements, communicate cruise information to them, and help answer requests
- Oversee the collection of lecturers' educational content, leading to the creation of an enriching onboard program for guests
Requirements:
- Fluency in English, fluency in Japanese is a strong advantage
- Curious and eager to learn how a global cruise line is organized and how award-winning guest experiences come to life
- Passion for sharing knowledge about other cultures
- Positive personality and like to work in a multi-cultural team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Solid computer skills, especially in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Education:
- Senior year student of recent graduate of a Master's or Bachelor's program in Culture Studies, History, Marketing or Tourism
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Interest in an eventual longer-term career in the cruise industry
- Efficient work style, not only in completing tasks quickly but in the optimization of processes
- Knowledge of educational design methodologies is a plus
