The IS Manager for Offensive Security leads the proactive and adversarial approach to countering cyberthreats, using the MITRE attack methodologies, to act on external threat actors. They help ABB business understand how hackers would approach their systems and the preventative measures they need to implement. This team delivers additional value through continuously keeping abreast and finding new ways to keep ABB safe. There are multiple critical projects which need high level of security testing that is conducted by this team as Grey & Black Box test. The IS Manager is expected to be very technical and an expert in Offensive Security with at least 3 or more zero-day vulnerabilities under their name.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Defines offensive operations, in close consultation with the Business Areas, Countries and Regions, an appropriate organizational structure to support the execution of the business's strategies, aligned with the corporate goals, imperatives and guidelines.
- Establishes, maintains, and communicates the organization’s strategy for managing information and the policies, standards, procedures, and methods necessary to implement the strategy in the department of responsibility.
- Accountable for the delivery of capabilities, solutions, and enhancements, creating technology roadmaps which align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions
- Responsible for the definition, maintenance and implementation of specific frameworks, processes, and models for the area of responsibility and the management of the lifecycles of all managed assets.
- Authorizes allocation of resources for the planning, development and delivery of all information systems services and products.
- Through measures and KPIs, aligns with their department heads to prioritize key programs and initiatives.
- Oversees the management of the end-to-end function and the activities of collating, investigating, analyzing, and presenting information, including resource allocation transparency to the customer/consumer.
- Actively manages relationships with the most senior stakeholders, and is the ultimate escalation point for issue resolution.
**Your background**:
- Strong skills in running offensive security programs on Applications, Compute, and Infrastructure devices.
- Strong experience in security Vulnerability control services from design, launch and maintenance. Services across network, endpoint, datacenter/cloud, vendor management (VM) etc.
- Experience in dealing with global and diverse stakeholders to explain the need for timely addressing security vulnerabilities
- Experience in driving risk-based vulnerability management approaches
- Experience in dealing with global and diverse stakeholders to explain the need for timely addressing security vulnerabilities.
- Certification like OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CRTE/CRTO (Certified Red Team Expert/ Operator, any SANS Offensive operations certification preferred )
