**What You’ll Do**

The Global Commercial Director role is to develop the global framework and to implement and authorize commercial (pricing) strategies for the Human Nutrition & Care Food & Beverage portfolio.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Develop pricing strategy to maximize the results for HNC / F&B. It must be representative of the supply and demand picture to support and drive growth of areas of responsibility.
- Active in driving the IBP work to assure increased forecast accuracy and support supply chain improvements. The impact for DSM is important and it should drive improvement of customer centricity in the full organization.
- Build a collaborative environment locally and globally to drive in an agile and value driven way the business. This requires a strong sense of empathy, drive and flexibility.
- Close cooperation with Category management to drive growth and profitability. The execution of the category strategy per product family is crucial to balance the manufacturing capabilities.
- Marketing and positioning of our segments is an activity that requires active collaboration with the position as the regional, segment and key account aspects drive our day to day activities.
- Provide accurate and insightful reporting to Commercial management globally.

**You Bring**
- University or higher level of education in Chemistry / Food technology or Business Administration
- Knowledge and understanding of market dynamics of the vitamins industry
- Excellent product strategy and portfolio knowledge
- In depth knowledge of DSM Nutritional Products / supply chain/ innovation strengths & weaknesses vs competition
- Very good understanding of marketing-mix strategies and the dynamics of price/volume characteristics of a highly competitive market
- Systems (SAP, NWP, Power BI, Office ) knowledge at key user level
- Exceptional leadership and influencing skills and able to orchestrate multifunctional resources
- Strongly self-motivated; solves business problems and works well with limited supervision
- Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment where constant re-prioritization is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English
